This former builders yard in the Somerset town of Cheddar was turned into two 3 bedroom family homes, constructed with reconstructed stone, white upvc windows and concrete double roman roof tiles.
The ground floor comprised of a kitchen diner, utility, WC and lounge complete with wood burning stove.
The staircase was given an extra touch by using oak newels and handrails to compliment the oak internal doors.
Accommodation on the first floor included three double bedrooms, a family bathroom and an ensuite shower room to the master suite.
Each house was also constructed with its own single garage, enough parking for two cars and ample gardens laid with turf and patios.
The high insulation values achieved combined with a low air permeability score, gas fired combination boilers and wood burning stoves mean the houses achieve a B-grade energy efficiency rating with estimated energy costs at less than £500 per year.
